Dress Code
Our dress code helps to establish an identity and pride for our school. It sets a standard for students to present themselves neatly and modestly. Assembly dress must be worn every Monday, on assembly days, and for specified programs or field trips. It is appropriate any day. Regular dress is required for all other days unless specified, such as Freedom Friday casual days.
Female Students Grades SK-5
Hair should be combed and conservatively styled without covering her eyes. All clothing must be labeled with child’s name.
Assembly Dress:
Blazer – solid navy with WCDS logo sewn on left pocket
Shirts – solid white collared shirt or turtleneck
Sweaters – solid color cardigan, crew, vest, or v-neck
Skorts/Skirts/Pants/Jumpers – solid khaki (Third grade students, and above, should wear a belt with clothing that has belt loops.)
Socks – solid navy or white knee high or ankle socks or tights
Shoes – leather or suede in navy, black, tan, or brown
Regular Dress:
Shirts – solid color shirt with collar
Sweaters - solid color cardigan, crew, vest, or v-neck
Skorts/Skirts/Pants/Jumpers/Shorts - solid navy, khaki: no jean-style or cargo pants. Third grade students, and above, should wear a belt with clothing that has belt loops. Any solid navy or khaki dress, skirts, skorts, shorts and jumpers should be modest in length.
Socks – must be worn and should coordinate with outfit or shoes
Shoes - Tennis shoes are acceptable as a school shoe with any regular dress clothing.
Male Students Grades SK-5

Shoes – leather or suede in navy, black, tan, or brown; Tennis shoes are acceptable as a school shoe with any regular dress clothing.
Regular Dress:
Shirts – solid color shirt with collar
Sweaters – solid color cardigan, crew, vest, or v-neck
Pants/Shorts – solid navy, khaki, or bone: no jean-style or cargo pants. Shorts must be walking shorts. Third grade students, and above, should wear a belt with clothing that has belt loops.
Socks – must be same color as bottoms or shoes
Shoes – leather or suede in navy, black, tan, or brown;
Male and Female Gym Uniform for Grades 3- 5

Sweatshirts/Sweatpants – solid color
Gym bags – Students are required to have a cloth bag with zipper
Gym shoes with white athletic socks – Shoes must have soles that will not leave marks on gym floor. They are used only for gym and are left at school.
PLEASE LABEL ALL GYMWEAR
Kindergarten through 2nd grade students simply need gym shoes with non-marking soles, which will remain at school.
