Admissions

Wheeling Country Day School seeks curious and kind children eager to engage in joyful learning and who will make a positive contribution to the school community.

We are pleased you are exploring an independent choice for your child’s elementary education.

While our website provides much information, we strongly encourage you to visit our campus in person. Observe our curious and engaged students and teachers in their classrooms and throughout our spacious campus with its grass playing field, classroom courtyard, and outdoor amphitheater. Sit in on classes that give great attention to a curriculum that matches the optimum times for learning within a child’s first ten years.

As you explore the Wheeling Country Day School option for your family and your child’s elementary experience, please consider the many questions to ask yourself and any school you consider.

Paying for an independent school education is a concern for all families. Those who have applied for admissions may apply for financial aid awards. Admissions decisions are made separately from financial aid award decisions.

It is fully accredited by the Independent School Association of the Central States (ISACS) and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), and Independent School Management (ISM).
