Apply to WCDS

Wheeling Country Day School seeks curious and kind children eager to engage in joyful learning and who will make a positive contribution to the school community.

We are pleased you are exploring an independent choice for your child’s elementary education.

While our website provides much information, we strongly encourage you to visit our campus in person. Observe our curious and engaged students and teachers in their classrooms and throughout our spacious campus with its grass playing field, classroom courtyard, and outdoor amphitheater. Sit in on classes that give great attention to a curriculum that matches the optimum times for learning within a child’s first ten years.

Wheeling Country Day School grants admission without preference to sex, race, color, national or ethnic origin, or religion. The school actively seeks economic, social, racial, and religious diversity in creating its student body.

It's Possible Here.

Wheeling Country Day School is a safe place to try a new skill that could become a life’s passion, to connect with an adult who will forever believe in you unconditionally, to balance the vulnerability, to lead with the empowerment of being part of a team and something greater than yourself.

Wheeling Country Day School wants to make the application process as easy and seamless as possible for prospective families. We strongly encourage you to visit our campus in person and talk directly with a member of our admissions team.
